Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes what Liberty County Busted Mugshots receives when someone browses, uses a search box, or sends a message, how that information is used, and when it may be disclosed. Using the pages means accepting these practices. Official destinations such as LCSO, the Liberty County Clerk, GDC, BOP, ICE, and outside search providers maintain their own privacy terms.

Information Visitors Send

Search terms

A name, location, or other text entered into a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Liberty County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy notice controls its handling after submission.

Messages and contact submissions

Email and other messages sent to the private site are retained long enough to read and answer the request. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.

Technical Details Collected Automatically

When a browser loads a page, ordinary server and analytics systems may receive technical information such as:

  • the connecting IP address;
  • browser name and version;
  • device type and operating system;
  • pages viewed and the time spent on them;
  • the referring website, when one is supplied; and
  • visit and request timestamps.

Cookies and similar storage

Cookies may help measure how visitors use the pages or keep a feature working. Browser settings can block or remove them. Some functions may respond differently when cookies are disabled.

Why the Information Is Used

  • to keep the pages available, stable, and reasonably fast;
  • to send search requests to the appropriate partner tool;
  • to understand which Liberty County records pages visitors find useful;
  • to identify errors and improve technical performance; and
  • to show advertising that may be relevant to a visitor's interests.

Links and Services Outside This Site

Pages may link to the Liberty County Jail and LCSO Interop roster, the LCSO Open Records route, the Liberty County Clerk case portal, GDC, BOP, ICE, VINE, local news, and third-party search services. Once a visitor follows one of those links, the destination's own privacy policy and data practices apply.

Advertising partners may also measure activity across different websites for interest-based advertising. That tracking occurs on the partners' systems and is not controlled by this private reference site.

Who May Receive Information

Personal information is not sold by Liberty County Busted Mugshots. It may nevertheless be available to the following parties when their role requires it:

  • search partners that process submitted queries;
  • analytics providers that measure page use;
  • advertising networks and their service providers; and
  • law-enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order or other lawful demand.

Security Is a Best-Effort Measure

Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for information handled by the site. No internet-connected system is completely secure, however, so this page makes no promise that data will be immune from every loss, breach, or unauthorized access.

Visitors Under 18

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent data, a parent or guardian may use the site's contact route to request deletion.

Requests About Your Data

  • ask what personal information the site may hold about you;
  • request a copy of that information;
  • ask for an error to be corrected;
  • request deletion where the site has a legal and practical duty to do so; or
  • ask to opt out of a particular use or processing activity.

Requests should identify the information at issue and include a way to respond. A third-party search provider or government office may need to receive a separate request for data held on its system.
