Liberty County Busted Mugshots is a private reference resource, not a government office. It is not affiliated with the Liberty County Sheriff's Office, Liberty County Jail, Georgia Department of Corrections, or a city police department. It cannot confirm custody, confirm a release, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the government office that holds the information.

For county custody or booking questions, start with these Liberty County contacts. The public sheriff's office is at 201 South Main Street, Suite 1300, Hinesville, GA 31313, at 912-876-2131. Public office hours are 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday. The LCSO contact directory is the official source for that office.
Liberty County Jail: 180 Paul Sikes Drive, Hinesville, GA 31313; jail line 912-876-6411. The 24-hour booking officer is 912-369-9271. Use the jail for the current county-custody question, then check the home lookup page for the official Interop current, last-24-hours, and arrest-date views.
LCSO Open Records: Maj. Bill Kirkendall handles the published request route at sheriffopenrecords@libertycountyga.gov and 912-876-4555. Use the LCSO Open Records page for a written request. Identify the person, arrest or booking date, booking number if known, and arresting agency. Ask for the booking record and image as separate items, and request a cost estimate. Georgia's Open Records Act, including O.C.G.A. § 50-18-71, provides an initial response framework of no more than three business days, but that is not a promise of complete production within three days.
Use the Liberty County Clerk case portal and choose “Continue as Guest” for filed counts, hearings, and disposition. The Clerk's docket is for the case outcome, not live jail custody, and the Clerk does not compile a generalized person-wide criminal-history search.
- Current county custody: Use LCSO's live Interop roster or call the jail. A missing name does not by itself prove that no arrest occurred, that a person was released, or that a transfer happened.
- LCSO records: Send a written booking-sheet or image request to Maj. Bill Kirkendall. The sheriff publishes no booking-photo fee or fixed production time, so ask for an estimate rather than relying on a promise.
- State custody: For a sentenced Georgia prisoner, use GDC Find an Offender. GDC is not the county booking roster, and its photograph display is conditional on availability.
- Federal or immigration custody: Use the Bureau of Prisons locator for BOP records and the ICE Online Detainee Locator for immigration custody. Neither is a Liberty County mugshot source. BOP results do not publish photographs.
- Release and transfer alerts: LCSO's VINE page links to custody-status registration by email, text, or telephone. VINE is an alert service, not a photo archive or court record.
- Possible warrant question: The Wanted Fugitives page explains the safe official routes, including the issuing court or Clerk and LCSO's labeled tip channel. It is not a complete warrant database.
For every route, verify the result with the originating agency. This private site cannot check custody or pull records on a visitor's behalf.
